Friends ....

Have you ever thought and realized how blessed you are with friends?

God has enabled us to reach out and make new friends with every opportunity, every moment of the day, in every situation.

I makde it a habit to speak to every person I pass, to smile but I do always try to say Hi or have a blessed day. I love to see the smile on their face and especially the suprised look for me to be speaking to them.

That's really sad, cause it seems like everyone is too busy to make friends these days. You are missing a wonderful opportunity to make a change and bless someone's life. You may be the only person that makes contact with that person today. Don't miss your opportunity to show God's love.

So I challenge you to do the same. Speak, smile or hold the door for them to come in. Notice the expression on their face and the feeling in your life!

Be blessed!!!

The Quietness of God

Good morning all, I ususally wait til lunch to blog, but I am impressed to share now.

This morning when I woke up, I thought it was Friday, then I said no, it's Wednesday. In the shower I realized that it is only Tuesday! Duh, we ministered at Food Pantry last night -- and we are always scheduled for Monday. So then I realized something as I was checking my church email, I noticed God's quietness.

As I read my morning inspiration -- that my precious brother in Christ Stacy sends each morning -- I noticed how quiet it was in the office. Before the music begins, before the phones start and people coming in, God allows me a quiet moment to meditate on Him. To ask Him to bless my day. To ask Him to place me where He wants me, and especially to encourage those that need encouraging.

This last week has been so totally hectic that it was overwhelming. But THROUGH it all, God was in the midst. As my precious, wonderful husband had to remind me late last week, I need to chill!

I need to come to grips with everything going on and somehow slow down and cope. That's where God must be placed --- BEFORE all the chaos! In His quietness I will gain strength, knowledge, peace and comfort to battle whatever comes my way! To be victorious in CHRIST, not in Wanda.

So I encourage you today to stop and bask in God's quietness. Allow Him to minister to you and give you the armour you need today.

God bless you and I pray you have an awesome day in Him!!!
