Do you have a lot of stuff going on in your life? Have you ever asked yourself these questions about the stuff:
What will it matter in 10 years, or even 100 years?
Will it help someone to find Jesus and make a dramatic change in their life?
Will it draw me closer to God or pull me away?
What would Jesus say about the stuff?
Last night we had the first night of Revival Intercessory Prayer at church. God moved in me in such a beautiful, peaceful way! He allowed me to think about the stuff going on in my life and put real focus where it needs to be. Also, to leave the stuff alone that really isn't important or in other words that will not matter in 10 years or even 100.
Too many times we get so totally overwhelmed with life's stuff and materialism that we take our eye's focus off the real prize -- Christ!
Last night I felt so at peace beause lately my devotions have been about life, my life as a witness to others. I want people to brag to God about my love and service to HIM, as in the book of Titus. I also strive through prayer to do these things by God's grace, not Wanda's. I feel this is very important because God know's the desire of my hearts as well as the reasoning behind why I do these things.
I love the Lord and I thank Him for new revelation every day!
May God bless you with His perfect peace today, and if you are available, we will have prayer every night 7 pm at Summerville Family Worship Center (407 N. Magnolia St.) through Saturday, May 9.

If We Could Just Glimpse ......
God's goodness is EVERYWHERE if we pay attention!
I love to see how God -- sometimes his wayward children -- loves us unconditionally and forgives us. Sometimes we are so concerned with our circumstances, we don't see Him working in our life.
I want to challenge you -- and myself -- to slow down and see the glimpses of God's love, His Grace and don't forget His Blessings. They are everywhere and even in people you don't expect. Will you allow Him to use you as a vessel to bless others?
I have found that when we are going through life's trials, the best thing to do is STOP, pray and start blessing others! We can think clearer when we get the focus off ourselves. At least I do!
Enjoy the miracle glimpses of God today! Be blessed!!!

Do you ever think what it God feels and thinks??
We wonder why people who profess to be Christians do the things they do, think the things they tell us about and even act the way they do. It's kinda like "where is your brain"? Do you not believe that God can do all things, work out all things and after all it's only "things"!
Faith is an action. We perform faith when we trust and depend on God's will, not ours. When we put it - whatever the situation is - in God's Hand -- and leave it there -- He is going to handle it as He sees fit. Not always what we want, not the way we believe it should be or the way we want it (yes I said that 2x - sometimes we are slow to listen). Trust in His love for us. He loves us so much and knows what is best for us.
So let's all practice trusting in God's faithfulness today and everyday! Start by taking it one day at a time, one hour, even one minute and one second at a time trusting and believing in Him!!!
