Total Blessings!

Have I told you lately how amazing and wonderful God is??

If not, let me share a bit of His blessings on me.

I have had some responsibility placed on me that I totally di not ask for BUT am so thankful that I decided to engage it as a learning experience -- and know that HE WILL lead me THROUGH it! Guess what? He is doing just that! I decided that I will not complain but just get organized and enjoy His blessings, and it totally works!

So today I challenge you to let go and let God have the reigns in your life!!!

Life's Lessons

Well I have to comment about Sunday also -- since Taylor & Elizabeth kinda touched on the subject.

There are so many sweet things about growing up and getting to do things you want to do with your friends. BUT, we all - no matter our age -- must keep up (I think they call it organized or something funny like that) with, you know like important dates and/or deadlines.

Yesterday, we had a little breakdown in communication, but everyone was safe and life goes on. We all learned a valuable lesson, a lesson that communication is the key to all relationships - with parents and friends.

Some parents can't wait til their children grow up and then they can have their own life! I honestly believe this is a bunch of bull -- a crutch for them to fall back on. Just because our young people are growing up is no reason at all for us to loose the communication with them or them with us. Why did we have children for in the first place! Mark & realizaed that as our children grow so do our relationship with them. We are to guide to the best of our ability, not meddle or nag (as Taylors like to thinks when sometimes I have to ask him to do something 3 times to do something!) We are to never, ever let the doors to communication close!!! I want Tiff & Taylor (plus our other "bonus" children) to always know that we are here for them, no matter what!

So to Taylor & Elizabeth, you learned a great lesson yesterday and we are so proud of how you both are allowing the Lord to minister through you! God has a special ministry for each of us and it is our responsibility to listen to Him as He leads us!

God is so amazing!!!

Have you stopped lately and really truly realized how blessed you are??? God is so amazing! I have been extremely busy since Thanksgiving until I Christmas and New Years was just a blur! Not good. It seems like I was just going through the emotional toils that the enemy wanted me to. With my Mom being ill and i am blessed to be her care giver, it seemed like she and I were visiting one doctor after another or going to the hospital or testing. Man, I will tell you it wore her and me out! But then on New Year's Eve, she was admitted to the hospital with swelling from congestive heart failure caused by Idopatic Pulmonary Fibrosis -- a lung disease she was only suppose to survive 5 years and thanks to God, she is in year 11! She was really ill, and thank God for hearing our prayers, even when we really don't know what to pray and even when we are so exhausted, we fall asleep praying. she was moved last Friday to Health South and she is doing awesome -- God has really touched her. She and I were talking the other day and we both realized how blessed we are to have God as our comforter. It's cool, we have both moved to another level with the Lord! Awesome!!!

I also have a precious son, Taylor and his (and mine - but in a different way) "special" friend Elizabeth who encouraged me to follow their blogs and asked me why I don't have one? IDK, so here it is. Yes, I am wordy, but I enjoy expression, and it is also good because someone out there may be going through something in their lives and needs encouragement.

I always love to tell people to have a blessed day -- because I believe that no matter what circumstance we are going THROUGH God is with us -- if we allow Him to be!

So I hope you have a blessed day!!!
